Time at the Arena
These videos were created for SMG at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes-Barre, PA. They show some of the on goings that happen behind closed doors. These videos can be found here and on Mohegan Sun Arena's social media pages. The foundation of hockey video was played during pre-season games for the 2017 season. I did all the filming on site as well as the editing with Adobe Premiere. These videos were completed the day of filming or the day after to fit deadlines.
The Foundation
of Hockey
This time lapse was when the new concrete was being poured for the hockey rink at the arena. The whole process was done in one long continuous pour for about 13 hours.
Setting up the Globetrotters
This was filmed when the operations crew was switching from hockey to basketball in one night. I was actively building this court while this was being filmed. I can be seen wearing a light blue shirt mostly using a hammer to piece the court together. I would have to stop every now and then to off load the camera's memory cards and keep the stream as seamless as possible. When the court was completed I went back and completed the editing.
New Season, New Ice
This is long and slow process of preparing a ice rink for the Wilkes-barre/Scranton Penguins 2017 season. This is a great video for any hockey fan to watch and see all that goes into making the playing field.
